Well friends it’s that time of the year for my return to the Chicago Adventure & Erotic Fair. This is that great annual event put on by Club Adventure, Chicago’s “Hottest” club for couples. Club Adventure now sponsors 3 socials a month (1 in Chicago, 1 in Peoria and 1 in Milwaukee) for couples to meet other couples in the Lifestyle. This my third Adventure and I am pumped. Last years event almost didn’t come off due to 9/11, but Ron & Sue from Club Adventure and the help of some great people pulled off the event of the year. Many vendors and couples from the east coast had to cancel. Still there were couples from all over the US & Canada that arrived for one of the countries premier couples only events. The decision to continue this event was made to show that a few cowards in a mind-twisted country could not keep us from celebrating our freedom and liberties.

Like last year, Vanessa joined me as we went to meet our old friends and hopefully meet some new ones. We arrived on Thursday afternoon at the hotel and headed to registration. Vanessa wanted to head straight for the Erotic Fair for some heavy duty shopping. I had to remind her that the fair was going to be going on for 3 days and she would have lots of time to shop. After we went to our room we headed down to the hotel bar. The bar was packed with people. We met this great couple from Colorado named Sean & Cindy. They couldn’t make last year’s event but were here the year before. Vanessa really hit it off with Sean while Cindy (about 5' 4", short brown hair, thin and built) and I talked about our expectations for the upcoming weekend. Next thing you know Vanessa & Cindy are talking and snuggling up to each other. Sean and I just sat back and watched the girls. Cindy then caught my eye and asked if I liked what I saw? Not being the shy type I said yes. She left Vanessa’s side and came right over and sat on my lap. Whispering some suggestive suggestions into my ear, I eyeballed Vanessa, who was already on Sean’s lap, when she gave me the “OK” smile. I suggested all four of us should head up to our room. Off we went and the weekend was officially on!

After our opening festivities we decided to take a dip in the pool. We met some more really friendly couples there and made plans to go to dinner. There was a pretty cool party that night and they played a fun game that helped us meet a couple from Indiana who were real nice. Their names were Sam and Jodi. She was a cutie. Vanessa was into him so it worked really well for us that night. There were some party rooms open but we made our own party in Sam’s room. After the party we went to bed. In my mind I couldn’t believe that this was only the first day.

Friday I couldn’t hold Vanessa back from shopping. There was a whole room of people selling items from clothes and shoes to leather whips and things I couldn’t believe some of the things they had there! There were some great resorts in Jamaica and Cancun (clothing-optional). We even met some porn stars. I got a couple autographs. That’s when I saw Bob & Harley. We met them at the first Erotic Fair we ever went to. We even became friends with friends of theirs. They invited us to a party in a suite later on that evening. We took in a couple of seminars and then took a nap. Friday’s Dance started with a fashion show and then a Ladies in Red/Men in Black Dance. The outfits the ladies were wearing were killer. Vanessa had this long skin-tight red gown that was out of this world. There was some trips given away and everyone danced all night long. We made it up to Bob and Harleys suite but it was jammed-packed with people. We decided to head to bed and take in what the next day had to offer.

Saturday we went to more seminars that were really interesting. That Sue really knows how to get people to open up and talk about things. We learned a lot about everything and even went to a massage class that was awesome! We were hanging out in the lobby watching, because Playboy was taking some pictures there. A lot of those girls were HOT. Vanessa thought so too, but I could not talk her into posing. We then went to an Erotic Hypnosis show that was out of this world. This guy, Rick the Hypnotist had a group of 10 people doing some of the most hilarious things we have ever seen. After the show there were a ton of people there walking around and shopping, and the bar at the hotel was jammed.

The theme for the Saturday night party was Mardi Gras. Before the party they had the contestants for the “Ms No-Swimsuit contest and they picked a winner. The winner went to Jamaica to represent Club Adventure. By the way, this Club Adventure had the winners for last years Ms. Lifestyles contest and they won the Ms No-Swimsuit Contest in Jamaica. I must say they were well represented if you know what I mean. However, back to Saturday night..... Vanessa got the most beads, I don’t even know how. In New Orleans you know what you have to do to get the beads? We ended up meeting some new friends and partied till 4 in the morning. It was great!

We’re going back this year because we had such a great time before. The Erotic Fair is Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th from 11am-11pm. We’re not going to miss it because Saturday during the day they’re trying to make the world’s biggest human sundae! See you there.

I was going through my mail this week and I noticed that Club Adventure of Chicago is sponsoring their second Erotic Fair this month. If it is anything like last year, this should be great. When I heard about this last year I thought it would be worth checking out. So you know, Club Adventure is a swingers club for couples only. They were putting this event on to introduce people to what they call the “Lifestyle.” I called some of the girls in my book and Vanessa was available to go. We didn’t know what to expect. This was supposed to be a couple’s event and since it was held in a major hotel, we thought what the heck. There were vendors of all kinds of toys, clothes, travel agents, artists and all kinds of other interesting stuff. The leather displays were pretty cool and intriguing. As we walked by these cool restraints, Vanessa had to try them all on. I never really thought I would do it, but I bought this whip with cuffs. We attended some of the seminars... definitely informative! One was this lawyer talking about what was and wasn’t legal. They had this other one about swinging from a man’s point of view... some English guy that had us cracking up with what he was talking about. The best was this chick from Club Adventure named Sue. She talked about all sorts of stuff that really peaked Vanessa’s curiosity (and mine). Like, how women really get into the lifestyle thing, how to say no, about women & bisexuality, what the parties are like and how to meet other people that want to swing. It really made us “hot.” Last year they even had a dance that we could go to.

We went to the dinner before the dance and they had this speaker, Terry Gould. He was talking about his book The Lifestyle and explaining what the lifestyle really was. Man, I didn’t know that his swing thing has been around for almost ever. I didn’t realize there were this many people who were into it. The dance that took place after was one erotic sight. The women were dressed to excite, and that is exactly what they were doing! They had this dance called the “Ladies Only Dance.” I thought I died and went to heaven. Vanessa got out on the dance floor with this girl named Kathy from Michigan. They gave me a show that I’ve only dreamed about. Later on, Kathy and her husband Larry, gave us their number and I gave them ours. I didn’t know if anything would ever happen with this, but what the heck. Vanessa really liked Kathy. They gave away some trips to Mexico, Jamaica and other places. That girl Sue, who owns the club, was on stage with a girl Harley, and they were throwing free T-shirts and other stuff to everyone. This was one dance I will never forget.

Vanessa and I talked about that event for months. Then, in January, I get a call from this Larry and Kathy. They were coming to town and wanted to know if we wanted to check out this Club Adventure. I called Vanessa and without hesitation, she said yes. We called Sue and I was surprises she had remembered us. She said that Larry and Kathy had already called and they told her they were going to call us. Plans were made to meet Larry & Kathy at the Club. We had to attend this orientation with four other couples (Larry and Kathy didn’t have to since they had been there before). The club is not open to the public. You have to call and Sue will talk to you and your partner (at the same time) to make sure you are actually a couple. They don’t allow singles in, ever. Larry and Kathy showed up and the party began. I’ve got to tell you, I didn’t know living could be so much fun. Neither did Vanessa. The club is pretty unique. They have a dance floor with a DJ, two hot tubs, a buffet (you bring your own drinks) and some great playrooms. They have these chairs that just make it perfect to…… lets just say, you must try these with your lady. We found out that they run a very secure place and discretion is a must. The couples that arrived after the orientation were just like the ones we met at the dance last year. Boy did they like to party. Vanessa and Kathy pulled me into the middle of the dance floor and I became the filling for their sandwich. Later, all four of us headed to the hot tubs and then explored the party rooms. I love this Lifestyle! Vanessa and I have been back several times since that first evening, and we’ve met Larry and Kathy twice more. Club Adventure sponsors trips to Mexico, Jamaica and other events. Vanessa and I are thinking about a vacation!

This year the Erotic Fair is triple the size of last year. Sue (and her husband Ron), really know how to put together a first class event! This year they are letting everyone come to the fair during the day. They’re going to have adult only resorts, other swing clubs, toy and clothes vendors, leather shows and more. And, most of the seminars will be open to the public. Vanessa has already called me and we are going to be there. It’s in mid-September this year.
